10.FREE MAID WORK PERMIT RENEWAL SERVICE

10.1 Eligibility for Complimentary Renewal Service

The complimentary Work Permit renewal service (“Free Renewal Service”) is available only to employers who purchase an eligible Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) insurance policy through FORA MAID SERVICES PTE LTD.

The Free Renewal Service includes administrative assistance relating to Work Permit renewal submissions and related documentation as determined by the Company.

Employers who choose not to purchase an eligible insurance policy through us may not qualify for the Free Renewal Service and separate service fees may apply.

10.2 Insurance Requirement

To qualify for the Free Renewal Service, the employer must purchase an insurance plan offered or arranged through FORA MAID SERVICES PTE LTD.

Insurance premiums, government fees, medical examination fees, passport renewal fees, courier charges, and any third-party costs remain payable by the employer unless otherwise expressly stated.

The Company may receive commissions, incentives, referral fees, or remuneration from insurance providers relating to insurance policies purchased through the Company.

10.3 MOM Application Fee Waiver

Any waiver, reimbursement, cashback, offset, or promotion relating to the S$35 MOM application fee shall be subject to the terms of the applicable promotion at the time of renewal.

The Company reserves the right to amend, suspend, discontinue, or modify any promotion without prior notice.

10.4 Accuracy of Information

The employer is responsible for ensuring that all information, declarations, supporting documents, passport details, contact information, and other information provided are accurate, complete, and up to date.

The Company shall not be responsible for delays, rejections, penalties, additional costs, or losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information provided by the employer, helper, or any third party.

10.5 Passport Validity

The employer acknowledges that Work Permit renewal may be affected by the validity period of the helper’s passport.

The Company shall not be liable for delays, rejection of applications, or additional costs arising from expired, damaged, invalid, or soon-to-expire passports.

10.6 Medical Examination Requirements

The employer remains responsible for ensuring that any required medical examinations are completed within the timelines prescribed by the Ministry of Manpower (“MOM”).

The Company shall not be liable for delays resulting from missed appointments, incomplete examinations, adverse medical results, or failure to comply with medical requirements.

10.7 Processing Timeline and Government Approval

The Company shall use reasonable efforts to facilitate timely submissions and processing.

However, all approvals, renewals, issuance of permits, processing timelines, and outcomes remain subject to the review, approval, and discretion of MOM and other relevant authorities.

The Company does not guarantee approval, issuance, processing timeframes, or outcomes.

10.8 Employer Cooperation

The employer agrees to provide all requested information, documents, approvals, confirmations, and payments promptly.

Any delay by the employer may affect processing timelines and may result in additional charges, delays, or unsuccessful applications.

10.9 Communication and Responsiveness

The employer shall remain contactable and respond to requests for information within a reasonable timeframe.

The Company shall not be responsible for delays arising from unresponsive employers, unanswered communications, unavailable documents, or late submissions by the employer.

10.10 Renewal Timeline

The Company strongly recommends that employers commence renewal procedures as early as possible before the Work Permit expiry date.

The Company shall not be liable for missed deadlines, late renewals, penalties, rejected applications, or complications where employers engage the Company close to the expiry date or fail to provide required information in a timely manner.

10.11 Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue any renewal request where:

(a) required documents are unavailable;

(b) information provided is inaccurate or incomplete;

(c) regulatory requirements are not met;

(d) outstanding payments remain unpaid;

(e) the employer fails to cooperate with reasonable requests; or

(f) the Company determines that it is unable to complete the renewal process.

10.12 Promotional Abuse

The Company reserves the right to reject, withdraw, suspend, or recover any promotional benefit where fraud, abuse, duplication, misuse, or manipulation of promotions is suspected.

10.13 No Guarantee of Cost Savings

References to cost savings, reduced costs, being “cheaper than renewing yourself”, or similar statements are general marketing representations and may vary depending on the employer’s circumstances, insurance requirements, government fees, available promotions, and individual situations.

10.14 Limitation of Scope

The Free Renewal Service covers only services expressly stated by the Company.

The Free Renewal Service does not include passport renewal, medical examination fees, transportation, accommodation, translation services, legal services, dispute resolution, appeal submissions, or any services not expressly stated by the Company.
